|As a youth, Ralph Garcia was always inclined toward creative forms of self-expression, such as drawing and writing short stories and poetry, and the technical side of presenting these art forms. In high school, he made a hobby of exploring multimedia, from linear video editing to audio production and web design.|
Upon graduating high school, Ralph attended De Anza College to study film and sociology. He continued his studies at San Josť State University, where he graduated from the Radio, Television, and Film (RTVF) program with a concentration on Multimedia Design and a minor in sociology.
In 2005, Ralph co-directed and edited several episodes of Real Talk TV, a bi-weekly talk show discussing issues in Asian-American youth culture. In 2006, he interned with Cinequest to film and edit episodes of The Cinequest Special Report, a podcast series offering daily coverage of Cinequest's 2006 film festival, as well as episodes of The F Word, an original podcast sitcom. Ralph has since edited a number of projects with both Cinequest and SFour Productions and is currently focused on expanding his abilities in video post-production and multimedia design.
